After Video Leak, Davido Jets To London For Reshoot Of ‘Skelewu’ Video (LOOK)

Davido posted a few pictures from the shoot on Instagram.

A day after ‘Skelewu‘ music video leaked online, hot and sizzling Nigerian music sensation Davido has travelled to London for a re-shoot of the video which will now be directed by Mr Moe Musa.

Davido’s much anticipated video for his hit song ‘Skelewu‘ was released on October 15, 2013 but fans and critics dished out mostly negative reviews.

Davido claimed the video was never approved by his label and wasn’t meant to be released.

Davido tweeted as soon as the video hit the web; ‘From the moment I first watched the leaked version 2 weeks ago I decided to reshoot it. I knew right away that skelewu deserved a better vid‘, he wrote.

Davido claims he knows who leaked the unapproved video, he tweeted: ‘Can’t believe this dude did this… U know who u are!  … Then you wait till I’m on the plane lol smart move .. Karma‘.

Fingers are pointing at the director of the first video, popular music video D.O.P Sesan Ogunro, but the director insists that despite the accusations, he’s as cool as ice. He wrote on Twitter ‘I am not fighting with anyone. these are rumours. Fade [Ogunro] and myself are cool with everyone‘.

Mr. Sesan also released a statement debunkinng the rumour that he was behind the release of skelewu unapproved version.

My attention is drawn toward  the chaos surrounding the release of the Skelewu video .
Myself and my team shot the video for Davido in Nigeria and to the best of my knowledge my client and his team were very happy with the result, when they watched/ and approved the video. If he has since had a change of heart, that is ok. I am not in any way responsible for the release of the video. I believe Davido and myself did a very good job regarding the video production and as a professional of over 10 years. I find it very irresponsible and immature if my client and his management publicly put out false statements/comments, in an attempt to tarnish my name, credibility and reputation.
I remain dedicated, humble, focused and as hard working as ever. Thank you to all my fans and industry professionals - Stay blessed.
