Mikel storms Super Eagles camp

Super Eagles midfield enforcer Mikel Obi, has arrived the team’s camp in Abuja.

The Chelsea of England midfielder did not feature in the London side 3-1 win over Norwich City at the weekend raising fear over his availability for the Eagles World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia. However, his early arrival in camp would surely help to alley such fears and confirm his readiness to do battle for Nigeria.

The team stand-in captain Vincent Enyeama was reported to have arrived in camp on Monday.

The Super Eagles are currently camping in Abuja; they will hold their first training session in the Main Bowl of the Abuja National Stadium by 3PM today.

They are 11 players in camp as at Tuesday morning some of which include James Okwuosa, Uche Nwafor, Elderson Echejile, Godfrey Oboabona among others.

The Eagles are expected to arrive Addis Ababa on Saturday for the first leg of their 2014 World Cup qualifier final round match against Ethiopia which is scheduled to on Sunday.
