Aaron Ramsey and Arsene Wenger have won the Barclays Premier League
player and manager of the month awards for September, after a
magnificent start to the season.
The Gunners currently top the league and won all the four games they
played in September – against Tottenham Hotspur, Swansea, Stoke City and
Sunderland.
Welsh midfielder Ramsey, who only managed three goals in the last two seasons, scored four times in the month, including a glorious double against Sunderland.
It is the 13th time that Wenger will be picking up the award since he arrived at Arsenal in October 1996.
