“My relationship with Jim Iyke is strictly business” – Ghanaian actress denies having sex with Nollywood actor

 

Ghanaian actress, Nikki Samonas whose roles with Nigeria’s Jim Iyke has sparked controversy over some X-rated scenes shot with the ‘bad boy’ of Nollywood has denied the rumours that she slept with the actor.

Samonas in an exclusive interview with United TV a Ghanaian based TV station said:

“Yes! Jim Iyke and I have done a lot of movies together. It is through Jim Iyke that I shot my first movie in Nigeria. Yes we starred in a particular movie and a movie is a movie. It is make believe so whatever you saw in the movie is make believe. We did it that way to show people that things like this happen but it doesn’t mean it really happened”.

Samonas emphasized on the fact that the only relationship that existed between herself and Jim Iyke off camera was the cordial kind between colleagues in the business.

“After the movie came out there were rumours that we were dating. No! There was absolutely nothing going between us. I never dated Jim Iyke and I never had s*x with Jim Iyke I haven’t done anything like that with him, whatever I have done with Jim Iyke is strictly business so what you see us doing in the movie is make believe”.

When asked if the movie affected her in anyway, she said most of her family members were disappointed when they saw the video adding that she had a lot of explaining to do as her family thought it was a leaked sex video and not a scene from a movie.

Samonas also disclosed that it had been a while since she  communicated with Jim revealing that the movie brought some misunderstanding between them but she refused to give any more detail.
