Brad, who turns the big 5-0 on December 18th, is an architecture
enthusiast and specifically an avid Frank Lloyd Wright fan. So when
Angie discovered Wright had designed the island’s two properties, she
allegedly plunked down more than $24 million dollars for Petra.
This isn’t the first time Angelina has splashed out on an elaborate and unique gift for Brad. Angie bought Brad a waterfall and surrounding property in California just two years ago. The gift was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s exquisite home Fallingwater, located in rural Pennsylvania.
The source tells the Mirror, once Angie heard the island was
available, “she arranged a viewing. She was really impressed. The house
is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It’s very
private. And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a
heart will mean so much to him.”
