Microsoft in talks with Real Madrid over naming rights for Santiago Bernabeu Stadium

Microsoft has confirmed that they are discussing with Real Madrid, to explore the possibility of acquiring the naming rights for the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 85,000-seater stadium, is currently names after former Blancos president and was opened in 1947.

Head of Microsoft Spain, Maria Gahan, has now revealed that Madrid appear interested to sell the naming rights for their home ground, to the highest bidder.

“They have offered us, and other companies, the possibility of renaming the stadium,” she told Antena 3.
“We’re in talks, and that sums up where we are.”
