Vincent Enyeama is just a game away from breaking a French goalkeeping record.
Enyeama carried his impressive form into this past weekend’s action as Lille recorded a 1-0 away win over Valenciennes in the French Ligue 1.
The Super Eagles stand-in captain has kept ten successive clean sheets in an amazing run that has seen him keep a total of thirteen clean sheets in fifteen games played so far.
Enyeama only needs to avoid conceding a goal for the first four minutes of his club’s next game against Marseille, to break the record of 948 minutes without conceding a goal.
The record was set by PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu between November 17, 2012 and February 8, 2013.
