Areeson Opeyemi, better known by his stage name Urbanaira, is a Nigerian
Hip-Hop Artist. Urbanaira is working on his debut Mixtape
"Urbanization" and is currently working on his studio album. In
anticipation of his mixtape, he released a mix tape titled "Successful"
Early life
Opeyemi was born in Lagos State, the last of four children. He schooled in Nigeria, attending Mayflower Secondary School, Ogun State Ikenne, Marigold College Ipaja.
He started his journey into hip hop way back to Junior High School in the year 2003. In Mayflower Secondary School, he was
involved in various social activities in which he was made to perform
from the stage. In the year 2005, he started writing music and songs of
his own.
He recorded his first demo series in 2012, when he recorded Oba Ni Ka Dawojo and kept on going by attending street carnivals and shows.
Urbanaira was going towards the direction of an emcee as his ability to freestyle was made known to his family and friends.
He is currently in a polytechnic studying Accountancy...
Urbanaira released his second official single titled "Back Like Oh"H and another mixtape titled "Successful" which was released in of the same year.
He has after then done other songs and has been featured in various
songs by Hip-Hop Artistes. His new single "Back Like Oh" was produced by MNS...[Looph Mash Studios] was released in the year 2013 and has been on heavy
rotation and downloads online.
Urbanaira style of rap runs through the fast and equally slow tempo. His
style of rap has not been compared to that of big names in the rap
