VP Sambo Pays Condolence Visit To Agagu’s Family In Ibadan

Vice President Namadi Sambo has paid a condolence visit to the family of former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Agagu, who died recently.

The Vice President, who defied an early morning downpour on Monday for the condolence visit, was accompanied by the Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi to the old Bodija, Ibadan residence of the Agagus.

The immediate past governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala and minister of State of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mrs. Jumoke Akinjide, were among other dignitaries that joined the VP’s train to the Agagu’s residence.

“We have lost a factor, somebody that has contributed immensely towards the development of the nation.  Nigeria will greatly miss Dr. Agagu,” Sambo said.
