If a PhD university lecturer could be among the leaders of the terrorist
Islamic sect, Boko Haram, could it not be possible for a professor and
member of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to belong? It will be
a monumental disappointment to the whole world if the main reason for
the long term strike of ASUU is not to make better the Nigerian
university education system but a plot in disguise to destroy it by the
Boko Haram sect and cause political instability. The Federal Government
should probe the membership of the sect by the university lecturers now.
