Musician, Guru, Attacks Charter House Over ‘Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’

GURU
Ghana Music Awards is just around the corner and eve before the nominees list is released, lots of artistes are talking about it. Earlier this week, Guru talked about winning more than three awards including the Artiste of the year at this year’s GMAs and here he is again daring the organisers to give him five awards to prove there is fairness in their awards.
According to a report by blayleak.com, Guru said this when he was called on Agoo East Entertainment Show. The Alkaeda hit maker, Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona, popularly known as Guru has hit on organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, “Charter House” by saying there is no fairness in the awards (VGMA).
Speaking to Agoo East Entertainment Show, Guru said he was disappointed in ‘Charter House’ organizers of VGMA when they rejected his track “Lapaz Toyota” during the 2013 awards without any meaningful
explanation. “If charter house claims there is fairness in the awards, they should give me five awards because I have worked hard” he challenged. Let’s take a look at my  Azonto Boyz track with Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win, Boys Abre with Lil Shaker, these tracks are everywhere. They are played at parties, on radio, nightclubs etc. Not to mention Alkaeda. He added.
Speaking on his new track “Pooley” Guru said it is way to eradicate some of the provocative word like “ashawo” literally means, prostitute from our language. Guru therefore promised to storm Nkawkaw Staboat come Val’s day on 14th February, 2014 as he urged his fans to come for their valentine gift through an unstoppable performance with Dj Blay, Levels Man.

Incredible! Ladies, this bra will make your breasts 3 TIMES bigger instantly (PHOTOS)

Triple boost ultimate cleavage bra- YNaija
A lot of women are insecure about their bodies and many desire an increase in the assets that are supposed to make them “desirable”
The plastic surgery industry thrives most on women who want bigger breasts and so go through surgery to enhance their bust.
A lot of women can’t afford breast augmentation and many more are too scared to go through with it but with this latest invention, there might be no need.
Designer, Ann Summers has released a bra which is said to make a woman’s bust look a whopping three times bigger than it really is.
Daily Mail reports:
The racy firm say their new Triple Boost Ultimate Cleavage bra increases breasts by a three cup sizes in an instant.
At £34, it’s a much cheaper – and pain-free – alternative for women who crave bigger breasts, but don’t have the will nor the £5,000 for a breast enhancement.
Three-quarters of women admitted in a recent survey that they wear cleavage-enhancing bras every day, and seven in ten are unhappy with their size.
Ann Summers put this to the test and asked their 54,000 Twitter followers to get in touch if they were considering a breast enhancement in 2014 – and the firm were inundated with emails from women who wanted to go under the knife.

A hand-picked few were selected to trial the bra before they made their final decision to book their operation. We can reveal exclusively that many changed their minds and decided to opt out after trying the new Ann Summers bra, while others found it an enormous confidence boost.
Georgie, 24, from Croydon, who is a natural 34B, was one of the women to test out the bra.
‘It has given me a real cleavage,’ she said.

‘The difference between the before and after pictures really does look like I’ve had surgery. No other padded/boosting bras on the high street have achieved this for me and I think at £34, it’s a must-have for every woman’s lingerie drawer.
‘The design is very comfortable and the smooth cups mean it can be worn under evening wear or light fabrics, while the lace trim makes the plunge cut even sexier. Love it.’

An Ann Summers spokesperson said: ‘The Triple Boost is a first in the lingerie business – no other bra can offer the support and breast size enhancing benefits – combined with the high quality design, cut and fabric.
‘This innovative bra is basically confidence in a bra cup – so save your cash, ditch the boob job dream and cheat yourself curvy.’
According to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, more than 43,000 surgical procedures were carried out in 2012 and of them, 9,843 were breast augmentations.

6 Tips To Becoming A Perfect Couple

6 Tips To Becoming A Perfect Couple
Is it possible to be the perfect couple? Part of this will depend on your view of the perfect couple. There will be arguments—any couple that tells you differently is lying—but you need to work out how to solve those arguments. Here are some tips to help you become the perfect couple, whether you have or don’t have kids.

1. Start As Soon As You’re Home

door-lock-key-hand

Yes, it’s been a long day at work, but you need to start showing your love and appreciation for each other as soon as you’re both home from work, play dates or whatever else is going on. There may be others who want your attention, like toddlers or pets, but make sure your spouse gets the attention right away. Pick up your toddler and then go to your spouse to spend time together.

2. Go Back To The Dating Stage

date-couple-drink-alcohol
It’s easy for the relationship to become stagnant and boring. This leads to resentment and one or both of you looking for love and attention elsewhere. Mix it up a bit by going back to the dating stage. You could re-enact your first date or do some of the things that you enjoyed in the bedroom when you first go together.

3. Spend Some One-On-One Time

couple-date
If you have children and pets, it’s time to find a sitter. You need some time to yourselves as a couple. This could be arranging a date night every week or fortnight or you may want to set a time to have some bedroom fun. Make sure the time is just for the two of you together. Turn off the cell phones and make it clear you’re not available to anyone else.

4. Stop Blaming Each Other For Everything

Take a step back and assess every situation. That’s what you did at the start, right? You didn’t jump straight into blame each other for something not getting done, right? So he didn’t do the washing up like he said. Take a breath and talk to him about it. He may have a really good reason for not doing it, or he may just have forgotten.

5. Have Lives Outside Of The House

adventure-trip-tent-bicycle
You can’t do everything together. You need to have friends of your own and lives outside of the house. Find other mums to talk to or join a group so you have other women and men to discuss things with and have fun. Don’t stop him from seeing his friends, unless you know that there is a really good reason (like you already had something planned that you really can’t change).

6. Get Away From The Hustle And Bustle

couple-kiss-beach
Spend some time away from everything. Every now and then, book a holiday somewhere, even if it is just for a night or two. This will get you away from the family life and allow you both to just be together. Make it clear that it’s not a time for the whole family to be there.

Magazine Calls Beyonce A ‘Whore’ For Steamy Grammy Performance With Husband (SNAPSHOT)

Magazine Calls Beyonce A ‘Whore’ For Steamy Grammy Performance With Husband (SNAPSHOT)
Beyonce’s performance at the Grammys was certainly an attention-grabber. She was scantily clad, moving seductively and digging deep in the playbook of erotic moves. The performance was more than most expected, and left some parents concerned that the show wasn’t quite family-friendly.

The reactions varied across the web, with some people being highly critical of the wife and mother getting on stage and showing her “goods” to the world. But some people felt that it was par for the course, and not nearly as disturbing as the performance by Miley Cyrus at the MTV Video Music Awards a few months ago.
One magazine, the UK Metro, took things a bit too far by referring to Beyonce as a Wh@re in their title, which goes over the line of decency in entertainment criticism. The magazine may have been seeking to get attention and sell papers, but it might have also succeeded in making itself look very bad.
 beyonce111
The appearance by Beyonce was due to a performance of the song “Drunk in love,” performed with her husband, Jay-Z. The song has been criticized as promoting domestic violence, with one lyric saying, “Eat the cake Anna Mae,” referring to the infamous scene in the film, “What’s Love got to Do with it?” starring Ike and Tina Turner. The film is known for being a wakeup call to the terrorism that some women experience at the hands of men.
Beyonce has referred to herself as a feminist, but as scholar and writer Crystal Hayes says, Beyonce may need to learn that feminism is more than a label and actually requires a commitment to specific principles. What are your thoughts? Should Beyonce be criticized for the performance, or was it fine? Beyonce is accustomed to pushing envelopes, so she is probably prepared to deal with the controversy. But this may set the bar so high that each year, one performer is going to have to outdo the last one.

Actor Yomi Fabiyi addresses marriage break-up tales with British wife

yomi and white wife
Months after popular Actor cum film maker, Yomi Fabiyi wedded his European wife, Fran Fabiyi , a report surfaced on the blogsphere that the Actor’s marriage had crashed due to some irreconcilable issues.

However, speaking with ENCOMIUM weekly in a new interview, the Lagos-based Actor, Yomi expressed total dismay over the tale, advising those sponsoring the rumour to find something better to do with their time instead of indulging in wasteful tittle-tattle.

“My brother, my marriage has not crashed. I don’t know why people are saying that.  It’s just a frivolous talk. I am still in good terms with my wife. There is nothing wrong with our marriage.”

Asked to clear the air on the issue of marrying the white woman to obtain a British passport, he said, “That’s not true, people are only saying rubbish.  There was nothing like that in our agreement when we got married. A lot of people have that wrong impression that the reason for marrying a white woman is to secure Green card or British passport as the case may be.  In the UK, they can’t issue you British passport like that.  Everything has stages.  After marriage, they will issue your spouse visa which allows you to stay there for five years.  After that, they will give you indefinite visa, which lasts forever.  During which you can be moving in and out of the UK and still maintain your citizenship.  British passport can only be issued based on request.  They don’t just issue it like that.  When you discover that your marriage has worked and you need British passport, they can give you.

“Meanwhile, that wasn’t my priority for marrying her.  Since we got married, I have never collected money from my wife.  Everybody has reason or reasons for marrying whoever he marries.  I didn’t marry Fran because of British passport and I have not applied for it.  So, that can’t be an issue between the two of us.

“People are just speculating because they don’t see her around me since we married.  We had an agreement that we will be living in Nigeria, but after a while, she couldn’t cope again due to the way area boys used to harass us and collect money.  She said we had to go back to UK but I told her I can’t leave my job.
“  Nigeria is the best place for me because of my career.  That was just the issue between us, and that has been resolved.

Now, we have both agreed that I can go to the UK anytime.  Left to me, the weather there is not good for me. That’s another reason I can’t live there, and she agreed with me.  She also agreed that she will be coming to Nigeria to see me.  So, why are people peddling unnecessary rumour?” He quipped.

Only God Kept Me Alive – Ejike Uzoenyi; Referee Gets Flak For Poor Officiating

Only God Kept Me Alive – Ejike Uzoenyi; Referee Gets Flak For Poor Officiating
Pocket-sized Super Eagles midfielder, Chrisantus Ejike Uzoenyi, has revealed that he almost passed, when Ghanain defender Kwabena Adusei, elbowed him in his next region leading to a minor concoction mid-way into the first half of the CHAN semi-final clash between Nigeria and Ghana in Bloemfontein, South Africa.

Team medics described Uzoenyi’s condition at the time as Cortica Artery seizure, noting that it took quite a while to get his pulse back from the leg region. “It was scary but we thank God, it didn’t degenerate more than that and the player’s recovery rate was phenomenal”, one of the medical official attached to the team noted.

The player himself was quoted by Team Media Officer, Ben Alaiya, as saying he momentarily passed on and didn’t know what was happening until he was stretchered out for treatment. “That player wanted to kill me with that vicious elbow and I was blank and did not know where I was until I started hearing noises, but I was determined to continue that was why I was rushing back to the pitch. But I think it was God that saved my life because some lesser cases have resulted in fatalities”.

Uzoenyi, said he was still sad that the Eagles lost the match after his near fatal accident and promised that he will be ready for the third place match against the Warriors of Zimbabwe. “It’s the only thing we have to leave here with and we are determined to compensate Nigerians with a third place finish”, he said.

Zambian referee, Janny Sikwaze, also received blames from soccer fans across South Africa for being too casual and at times absent minded in the handling of the Nigeria-Ghana match. “It was really scary that a player will commit such an offence and still was left on the pitch by the referee, CAF must take note and deal with this matter before players like that commit murder on the pitch”, declared Emmanuel Addo, a Nigerian, who is here for the tournament.

Lucia Sanele, a South African said she saw the bestial side of football from the Ghanaians and wondered if the organizers were taking notes of what was happening on the pitch. “We must find a way to excuse brutes from the game of football if the game must maintain its entertainment values”, she said.
